Our story starts in second grade.

Jon and Jason became friends growing up along the rugged Northern California coast in Mendocino and Fort Bragg—where fog rolls in thick, the ocean is always nearby, and creativity finds a way to thrive. Back then, we bonded over art, music, movies, jokes that only made sense to us, and a shared sense that the world was way more interesting when you made stuff.

Jon grew up surrounded by art—literally. Both of his parents were professional artists, so creativity was never a hobby, it was the household language. He eventually headed south to Santa Cruz to study graphic design, where he also fell hard for the surf culture, the coastline, and the idea that design could be expressive, playful, and meaningful all at once.

Jason took a different path, heading north to the University of Oregon to study business. While his route was more strategic than sketchbook-filled, the creative spark was always there—along with a sharp mind for building things that actually work.

Years later, fate (and maybe the universe having a sense of humor) brought us back together in San Francisco—where we randomly discovered we were living just two blocks apart. That reunion set everything back into motion.

Jon went on to work professionally as a graphic artist, motion designer, web designer, and UX designer. Jason built a highly successful career in software sales. Different lanes, same wavelength.

What never changed? Our shared love of pop culture, movies, music, comedy, and art. Add in surfing, snowboarding, nature, animals, and a slightly off-center sense of humor—and you’ve got the DNA of this brand.

This store is the culmination of everything we love. Every design pulls from our backgrounds, our passions, and decades of friendship. Some pieces are nostalgic. Some are playful. Some are weird. All of them are made with intention and heart.
